A birthday card for a good friend

02Sep14

Thanks to the CCEE Stampers I’ve learned about the Herringbone technique. A technique perfect for using up papers. I had to change it a little bit because I used a glue stick.
For this card I recycled bits of wrapping papers.
And I’m so excited because this is the first time after almost 11 months that I’m entering a card into a challenge.
So, I want it to enter into the CCEE challenge. I hope that it’s okay for you that I haven’t used the technique for the background but for the main focus instead.

recycled materials: wrapping papers, card board for the background of the herringbone pattern, black cardboard from Nespresso packaging and white cardboard.
