New cards…
Sometimes, I read a challenge and love the theme or sketch or colours and I think about entering a card. But I need a lot of time to get the card finished. And sometimes an idea for a card pops into my mind the moment I read the challenge post and I have to make the card or I won’t find sleep. It’s strange, don’t you think?
The following two cards are of the first kind.
CAS-ual Friday has the theme “round of applause”. I only have one circle stamp and I wanted to use the colours in a totally different way but in the end I decided to try it this way. I hope you’ll like it.
The next card started to be with the 60th Freaky Friday at the Forever Night Creepy Challenges Blog. They want to see Steampunk this week.
I used a freebie I wanted to use for ages (which I’ve found at Vince’s blog). Since I got a new printer at Christmas I was able to test some paper. I’m not totally pleased with the paper, but it’s better than the one I used before. I had coloured image laying around on my desk when I read the LEJ challenge asking to use some metal. And “bling” there was some sparkle of an idea. I used some wire to make embellishments for this card.
